San Jose Boudoir Photographer: Texas
I’m sure enjoying our Texas visit so far. The serene landscape, a front porch swing and the joy the boys have playing with the dogs and exploring the large yard. It just happens that there’s a record breaking heat wave, I twisted my ankle and mosquitoes think I’m the sweetest thing- but those are minor and won’t put a damper on my plans.
The other morning I hobbled out to snap a few photos of Grandma’s flowers. I had being eying a magnolia blossom from my bedroom window that was just about to bloom. When I saw it had opened I grabbed my camera and off I went. So pretty. The only thing I will admit to NOT liking- editing on my laptop. Blah. I can never tell if the lighting is correct.
In Other News…
As of July first I will be applying a slight price increase on my session fees and some products. I found an amazing new album company that I am so excited to use(gorgeous two tones leather and cameo covers) but with luxury comes cost so 8×8 and 10×10 album prices will be going up. So will the digital file collections. BUT there is some good news, if you book your session BEFORE June 25 you will lock in our current prices. Booked sessions can take place up to 3 months out so if you book now you can have your September session at current prices- now that’s good news!
Stay tuned for some fun Texas style images from a shoot I did yesterday. Yeehaw!
Beautiful photos. How did you sprain your ankle? You have some of the coolest products!
I am embarrassed to say, I was stepping off a curb ni a parking lot, turned to make sure my two year old didn’t trip and I stepped on a stone that I didn’t realize was there. LOL. Since I was holding his hand I about took us both out. Thankfully it wasn’t a terrible sprain and besides a little stiffness it seems perfectly fine now. 😉
I love flowers too! Magnolia’s are beautiful and I think of the move Steel Magnolia’s almost every time I see them! I hope your ankle gets better!
Sorry to hear about your ankle. Flowers are amazingly beautiful!
I hope you heal quickly! Enjoy your time in Texas. The photos you took of my dear Kadigirl are amazing! You have a true gift & talent. I enjoyed your website very much.
Thank you so much Debi. Kadi was so fun to work with and a beauty to photograph as well. I am hoping to get a chance to work with her again. If not this trip then def’ next time I am in town. I hope to get more images edited soon so I can share them here. Look for more images to come! Take care, Danea
I love love love the images you posted. 🙂 I grew up with two Magnolia trees in my yard on Magnolia Place. I love the lemon smell they have. Wonderful shots.
