Wow! That was a really tough call. All three finalists were amazing so announcing a winner is kind of bittersweet for me. I truly hope that each girl had a great time during her whirlwind shoot and that they all love their images! You ladies will be hearing from me very soon.

Simple & Beautiful | San Jose Bay Area Boudoir Photography

In recent months I have started to fall more in love with sheet shots. Sheet shots are a set of images that focus on a women’s beauty. No frills or fuss, just her, a bed and my lens. I have been thankful that more and more clients are braving these shots. There is just something so beautiful about a relaxed woman in bed. These shots are sexy and playful and remind me of a romantic weekend getaway where you can lounge in bed on a Sunday morning. Sans kids, deadlines, work or any other distractions. Aaaaahhh, what I would give for a weekend away… but I digress.

Here is a gorgeous set of the lovely Miss M. There were more, of course, but these 3 black and whites are my very favorite from her session.

Oh, and the other bonus for sheet sets… no need for expensive lingerie. 😉

Signature Coterie Girl Finalists 2013 | San Jose bay Area Boudoir Photography

This is it, our 2013 Signature Coterie Girl finalists!

On Jan 5th, I had each girl come to the studio for a test shoot. The purpose of this shoot was to give me a feel for each girl and how she responses to the camera, my sometimes very hard to follow directions, and get an overall idea of her personality and look. Each girl did an amazing job so I am now left with the very hard decision of narrowing it down to just ONE. Yikes, this won’t be easy! Thankfully I will have the help of some amazing boudoir photographers from around the USA and Canada to help me with my decision making. (go check them out)

Signature Coterie Girl 2013- Finalists | San Jose Boudoir Photography

Good morning ladies and gents!

This morning I placed the calls to my three finalists so it’s time to make my announcement public but first I want to thank my panel of wonderful boudoir photographers from all over the USA and Canada, they are amazingly talented and I am honored to have them join me in making these decisions. I will be sharing more information about them soon. 🙂 We received an fantastic amount of entries which of course made the decision process even more difficult. Personal Favorites of 2012 | San Jose Boudoir Photoghrapher

First and Foremost- HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I am so far behind in blogging(what else is new) but I felt the desire to do a “Best of 2012” post. I thought it would be fun to choose my favorite 12 shots from the last year. I was wrong… it was hard, very hard. Like trying to choose a favorite kid… okay not really, that’s easy hahaha, but I do feel like every image is a part of me and represents my artistic style, so narrowing it down was EXTREMELY difficult. At first I had shots from every session I am allowed to share. LOL. Then I really narrowed it down to images that spoke to me. It’s funny because some of these may not be favorites of the ladies in them and that is perfectly fine, these are MY favorite shots of 2012, some you have seen and some maybe not yet, but I promise to play catch up on posts over the next few months as I have been sitting on some gorgeous images of beautiful women and they really need to be shared!

So here they are in random order, my top 12 for 2012… Enjoy!

I have to say after scrolling through this preview, that I really enjoy editing and how each image has it’s own style but still plays into what I like to think is *my* look. At least I hope that’s what I accomplish.
