Christmas is 2 days away!!! Some people dress up for Christmas Eve and Christmas, some people choose to go casual. Let’s look at some gorgeous and comfy ideas.

I love a beautiful colored coat with a neutral dress. It looks so classy and elegant.

Wish 🎄

And the opposite looks good too; a red blouse with a cream coat. Don’t forget the red heels!
Have yourself a Merry little Christmas!!

Of course you don’t have to wear red to dress up for Christmas

I’m more of a casual dresser; a nice sweater and some comfy skinny jeans is my style. I love this blanket scarf!

You can still wear a pop of color if you like to dress casual.

What’s your style on Christmas Eve and Christmas ladies? Do you dress up or are you more of a casual dresser?

Almost one week away from Christmas ladies, and I know a lot of women who like to wear a new little something for the bedroom around this time of year as a gift… let’s talk about some good options.

A gorgeous, deep, jewel toned burgundy outfit is a great choice. This color looks great on every skin tone and is a great alternative to the flashy red that most companies use.

Today we’re gonna talk about something not very practical for everyday wear, but you hear a lot about it this time of year. The Ugly Sweater. Many offices and friends have parties for who can wear the ugliest sweater. Personally I feel like any Christmas or Holiday type printed sweater is now classified as an Ugly Sweater, whether it is truly ugly or not. While your sweater may be unsightly, that doesn’t mean that your whole outfit needs to be awful (Unless you want it to be!). Let’s look at some ways to style your ugly sweater.

This one of course caught my eye.

Ugly Chirstmas Sweater.. Ms. Scrooge

The sweater may announce your idea here, but the outfit itself is not bad. Some spiked ankle booties and colored skinny jeans bring this sweater into an everyday outfit.
Try pairing your ugly sweater with a cute, flirty skirt.
CHRISTMAS TIME

You can always dress it up a bit more with some gorgeous colored heels.

And of course you can always just own the ugly-ness and put together an overall ugly outfit.

What does your favorite ugly sweater look like? How do you like to wear it? Do you attend a party for ugly sweaters?
Stay warm in your ugly sweater ladies!

Let’s talk about Holiday parties again. I know we’ve talked about dresses before, but I want to talk about them again! It’s so fun to go dress shopping and try different styles on and really see what you like. But if you already know what styles suit your body, have you thought about renting a dress? Yup, that’s right; renting a dress.

Rent the Runway ladies!!!!

It’s more than just dresses ladies, but let’s focus on those today. I love that you can filter your choices for color, style, even shape.

Their prices are very reasonable, and they let you choose a second size of the dress for free in case your original size doesn’t fit. There are plenty of reviews for each dress so you can see what other people feel in regards to the sizing. Now let’s get to the fun part; sharing some of my favorites I found!

I could share images with you all day long of dress I find. Look at those prices ladies! I would happily pay $60 to rent a dress and be able to shop and try on in the comfort of my own home, wouldn’t you?!

They also carry a variety of gorgeous clothing pieces from tops, bottoms, jumpsuits & rompers, and jackets. You could even rent a dress for your glamour shoot with us!

So tell me ladies, what do you think about renting a dress or an outfit for your upcoming party? Have you used Rent the Runway before? What was your experience? Can’t wait to hear your story!

Everything old comes back into style right? Whether it be toys or clothes, things from my childhood and teen-hood seem to be coming back around. We’re gonna talk about bodysuits today. I’ve seen them around in my online browsing, and also in person at some stores.

Bodysuits are so versatile because you really can pair them with anything. Let’s look at some options.

If you work in a professional setting, you can pair the bodysuit with a few different items.

One would be a pencil skirt. This look is classic and sleek. Don’t forget heels or small pumps to really set this outfit off.

Pencil Skirt Meets Bodysuit

Another great option for work is to wear with slacks and a beautiful blazer or sweater.

If you’re looking for a more casual way to wear a body suit, try pairing it with colored jeans and a blue jean jacket. I love this look with the striped bodysuit.
Stripe Bodysuit
This one is gorgeous and would be a great work choice, or even for a brunch with the ladies.

Last idea I’m going to share with you today is to wear it with jeans. While the jeans say casual, what you add to the ensemble makes it more than just a casual look.
Jacquard bodysuit

I love the jacquard pattern of this. That in itself gives the outfit a bit of an classy look. Paired with some cute ankle booties and a nice sweater or coat, this outfit can easily be worn to any function.
What are your thoughts about the bodysuit coming back into style? Something you would consider adding to your current wardrobe? Anything I’ve shared with you today inspired you to pick one up?

There’s a local store that I have fallen in love with. There are a few storefront locations and you can also purchase online. The store is Francesca’s.

Let me share some things I found online that I love. It was hard to narrow it down because I really could share almost everything.

Francesca's

These frayed jeans look great, and priced at only $44 they’re a steal! I love the lace-up back of the right sweater, and the cross-over blouse on the left looks great. Either top could be paired with the jeans.
Another set I put together to show you are some of their dresses. There are great everyday casual type and some for the upcoming holiday party season.
Francesca's dresses

I love these formal dresses! There really is something for everyone. They even offer plus size clothing online.

Francesca's plus tops

One thing that I really love about their website is that they show some different outfit choices. For example, when I brought up this top, underneath it had these three different outfit options. Love that! It can be nice to get another take on an outfit choice.

Take a look around their site ladies. There is a storefront location in Downtown Los Gatos and one in Oakridge mall, that I know of. Shoes, jewelry, tops, dresses; there are so many options!! Share with me what you found that you love!

Holiday party season is approaching and it can be difficult to find the perfect dress for your party. Once you start shopping it might seem that every store has the same dress, your size might be gone already or any number of other things can make you frustrated. Well, think outside the box ladies for your Holiday party dress.

Danea came across a website that has some beautiful gowns for great prices; Light in the Box. You can filter for Holiday dress, your color, length, sleeve length and many other options. Let me show you a few that caught my eye.

Holiday gowns

They’ve got some sparkle and some shine to them; I love these all. Seriously ladies there are pages and pages and pages of beautiful holiday party dresses. They even have some stunning plus size dresses.
Holiday gowns

Since it is an online store, and purchasing a dress (or anything really) from an online store can be a bit nerve wrecking, I would recommend following their sizing guides for each individual dress and ordering soon! Especially with items coming from overseas it can take a bit of time.
If the idea of finding your dress online makes you a bit nervous, head to your nearest TJ Maxx. I’m serious! Look at some of the dresses I found online for their stores.
Holiday dresses

And if a long dress is more your choice, they have you covered there as well.
Holiday gowns

Yeah, seriously; all those dresses from TJ Max.
What style dress do you prefer for a Holiday party? Do you have a party through your work? One with friends? Family? Where are you wearing your gorgeous holiday party dress to?!!
