Sometimes it can be difficult to find lingerie that isn’t trendy or in style at the moment. These trends and styles don’t necessarily fit into everyone’s taste or even comfort level. So, have you ever thought about purchasing your lingerie from Etsy? Yup, I’m serious. These are hand made items and I can *almost* guarantee that with enough browsing you will find something that you will love. There are so many suggestions for lingerie when you search. Plus size, bridal, erotic, sexy and so many other suggestions to help you find what you are looking for.

Let me share some of my favorites I have found.

If you are looking for a bra and panty set, these ones caught my eye.

I love how the top right reminds me of a peacock; this is something different and really unique. The other two have a vintage feel to them. I love the satin and gorgeous jewel toned of the purple set and how the black set is a high waisted panty with that detail of the lace at the hip.

You know how I’m always talking about details really making the piece, I love the detail on these pieces.

Look at the buttons on the top left set! It is the tiniest addition that can upgrade an outfit, even lingerie. The tiny little bows on the other pieces and the mix of fabrics is gorgeous detail too.

Etsy even has some gorgeous vintage pieces if today’s styles aren’t your cup of tea.

I wasn’t kidding when I said I can *almost* guarantee you will find something that suites you, whether it be for your upcoming boudoir shoot or for private eyes in your bedroom. Take a look around and show me what you found that you love. Can’t wait to see what you come up with.

Holy cow, I’ve stumbled across a beautiful, delicate, romantic lingerie company, Amoralle. I’m so in love with these pieces, and more. I will warn you though, this is not a cost friendly line, but wait until you see! I’m so excited to share. Let’s look at some gowns first.

Eeek!! I really am loving this, in case I haven’t already said that. These amazing pieces would look great on any body type. There is such a soft, romantic feel to these. And the blush color is fantastic and would be great for a bridal shoot.

Next up let’s look at some bodysuits. So many to choose from!

Â I love that all the garters are detachable for those who may not want to wear them. The lace again is so beautiful and delicate.Â I love how the neckline of the two black and sheer bodysuits are different to fit everyone’s style.

One of their special pieces that I came across is this

So pretty! I love it paired with the high waisted black panties but really you could pair it with anything.

Fashion Friday | San Jose Morgan Hill Bay Area Boudoir Photographer

Bringing it back to lingerie talk today ladies. I’m going to focus on some curvy body friendly items.

There are so many gorgeous items you can find to wear for your boudoir session. Today I’m focusing on items I found online at Lane Bryant. What’s especially nice in this case is that you can go down to your local mall (most malls have a Lane Bryant) and actually try these pieces on.

Let’s take a look at some of the things that caught my eye.

Some women are not comfortable baring a lot for their boudoir shoot, and that is ok! There is nothing that states you need to come in with some itty bitty bra and panty set. Everyone is comfortable in something different so choose what you like! If you are unsure bring lots of options, or heck, even schedule a wardrobe consultation with Danea before your shoot! Back to those pieces though; I love the peach outfit. The black lace overlay just gives it a little something extra and you know their bras are well made to support a larger chest. The chest cut out of the black chemise gives a nice little hint of cleavage and the cream lace over the flowy chiffon fabric is a beautiful detail.

If you are more comfortable in a bra and panty set, check out these two. I always love the idea of a garter belt and stockings, but maybe that’s just me! The bra has that beautiful red strap that just adds a little something extra around the chest. And the black set, well that happens to be my favorite of anything I found. I love how the panels seem to be a bit sheer, giving a little hint of something, and then how it ties around the neck. I’m a sucker for those little details and they really can change an ordinary lingerie outfit from blah to stunning.

Some of the last things I found are a combo of some two piece sets and some bodysuits. Again everything I’m sharing has something added that just makes it stand out. Lace detail in the white and black bras; lace in the apricot bodysuit; the halter neck bodysuit that ties at the nape of the neck; the large keyhole of the bra and the skirt with garters.

Danea was recently contacted by a local mall lingerie store, Soma Intimates, to come in and share her gorgeousÂ work with their customers. Pretty amazing, huh?! In light of that I thought I’d highlight some of their items that have caught my eye, and there are plenty.

First off about something red and lacy for Valentine’s Day. Each bra has a coordinating panty for you to choose from as well.

For those of you who happen to be a bit more supple up top, they have some beautiful bras for you as well. That’s one thing I really am loving about this store, they have sizes for everyone. Some mall stores, who shall remain nameless, really only cater to small girls, and their bra sizes are not true bra sizes. These are!

If you’re looking for more of a lingerie type style item, they’ve got you covered there too. Check out some pieces I found.

I am seeing a shopping trip here in my future. I am loving their bras and some of this lingerie! I always enjoy sharing a variety of items with you all, and how you can achieve a similar look based on your style. There are so many different ways to

Some people are more comfortable with a modest look, while some women probably think “Hell, I’m here; let’s do this and go with a daring look”. And of course there are always some of us in between.

Let’s take a style icon and look at different ways to pull this style off no matter what you are comfortable wearing.

Coco Chanel is a huge style icon and these looks above show that style perfectly.

The modest look of a gorgeous long sleeve high cut style bodysuit is perfect. I love the addition of the belt, pearls of course, and a broach!

The classic look of this teddy with a tie at the neck is a perfect example. It’s a prefect mash up of a bit daring while still being covered. The combo of black and pink are a must if you are channeling Coco. Adding those black gloves if the finishing touch for this look.

And daring, wow talk about a daring look! This bra & panty don’t leave anything to the imagination. Again with a black and pink classic color combination. The long pearls draped around your neck with some fantastic black leather boots. I can see you picturing this in your minds ladies.

I’ve stumbled upon another new lingerie company that I’m eager to share with you. This isn’t only a lingerie company; they’ve got some pretty dresses I’m going to show you as well. Just like last week, you can find this line of lingerie in stores likeÂ Norsdstrom, so you can actually go in and see the items in person and try them on.

Let me introduce you to For Love and Lemons! This line of lingerie has a lot of pretty detail, but doesn’t leave much to the imagination.

Beautiful, huh?!!! I like that they offer a full panty or thong choice to match with each bra. Their attention to detail on the front of the bras and panties continues to the back of the set too.

Here are a few more bra and panty sets, and a gorgeous one piece.

Again their attention to detail is just beautiful. These are some great pieces for your upcoming Valentine’s Day ladies!

As I said above they don’t only have lingerie, I found some pretty dresses as well.

In my search for what to post this week, I’ve stumbled upon a new to me lingerie brand, which is perfect timing as Valentine’s Day is just about a month away. Who doesn’t like new lingerie for V-day?!

What I like about this company is you can purchase in stores, such as Nordstrom and Macy’s, as well as online. I’ve always had trouble when purchasing items online, I’d really rather be able to try them on to see how they fit. Let me share with you some of my favorite things from Free People.

I love that there seems to be something for everyone’s taste. They have some items that don’t have a lot of detail, then others that are beautifully detailed.

If bodysuits aren’t your things, what about a bra & panty set…

I love the little ruffles and the top strap on the panties in the bottom set. The top set caught my eye with the high waisted panty and the back of the bra.

If a slip is more of your style, they’ve got plenty to choose from as well.

They’ve got short slips and long slips, but every one has some sort of special something; lace to those little buttons on the back of the top red one. Eeeek! There really is something for everyone.
