We are officially in Spring and one spring trend I keep seeing around is colored denim. I love all the different colors and hues and colored denim can be very versatile in how you wear it. Today I’m going to show some different ways to wear colored denim.

Let’s start off with a gorgeous Spring color, Pink.

This beautiful dusty rose colored denim looks great paired with a soft pink blouse and a traditional blue denim jacket. And the dusty rose colored shoes really complete this look.

Of course there is always the soft, baby pink colored denim.

I love this soft color paired with this perfect Spring top. The color of the purse and the jeweled sandals complete this look.

This color also looks great paired with a white top.

With this outfit I would probably go with a different shoe, something strappy and fun.

Another gorgeous Spring color for denim is green. Beautiful Spring green obviously! I love this color, and pairing with a striped top is a perfect option.

Green denim looks great paired with this blue blazer too!

Coral is another fantastic color choice and is easy to pair with a variety of floral spring tops.

Spring doesn’t always have to be about soft, pastel colors though. This bold colored outfit is still a great option for Spring, and for colored denim.

If you know me, you know I love to wear jeans. I am fortunate enough to not have to wear a uniform everyday or have a dress code for work. I wear jeans every day. I am a very casual type dresser, but sometimes when I’m going out with my friends I like to look nice, who doesn’t! I still typically wear jeans, but wearing a nice blouse and adding some details is what is going to really change your look.

I wanna show you some styles I found while browsing around Polyvore.

I love this for a few different reasons. Beautiful colored jeans, a gorgeous white long tunic top, nice embellished sandals and of course accessories. The silver cuff bracelet is a perfect addition to this outfit and I think you could really pull off any pair of earrings.

If there’s a bit of a chill in the air, you can still pull off a sweater and a dressier look. Make sure you are choosing a nice sweater, like this knit soft green open front, paired with this incredibly soft pink blouse under helps to pull off this casual dressy jean look.

Maybe you’re needing a bit more of a dressier look, but it’s still a jean type event or dinner, pull out a gorgeous blouse and pair it with some high heels. Add in some nice earrings, a nice purse and I would add a bracelet, and you’re all set for a fun night out.

This last look is super causal, but not your t-shirt casual jean look. A nice pleated top can be great with jeans, and paired with some heeled sandals this look is a great choice for a night out or weekend event.

Fashion Friday | Mountain View San Jose Bay Area Boudoir Photographer

This week I heard something on a TV commercial that I knew would be perfect to share. It was a commercial for a department store, and they said something about blush being the new neutral. I love this idea! I think blush being considered neutral is nice because when you think about neutral colors, at least when I do, I think black, grey and white. But blush, that’s got a bit of something to it. Let me show you some great ways to wear it as a neutral.

You can jazz it up with a fun coat.

You can pair it with a gorgeous green

And of course you can always pair with another neutral.

Blush looks great paired with jeans too.

Of course you don’t have to pair it with another color at all.

I am, once again, thinking ahead to Spring ladies. I can’t wait to stop having to wear layers and huddle inside under a cozy blanket. I’ve seen some spring trends and items roaming around Polyvore, so it’s not just me. Let’s take a look at some things that have caught my eye.

I love this cream colored lightweight dress paired with the soft apricot cardigan sweater. Pair with some neutral flats to finish this easy going Spring look.

This color screams Spring! Paired with some camel colored heeled boots and a lightweight shawl to wrap around if you get a chill, this is a great outfit for Spring.

Pair a lightweight top with some slightly frayed jeans and some scrappy heeled sandals for another great Springwear option.

I have to admit, this outfit is screaming my name. Jeans and a beautiful lightly patterned top paired with some casual sneakers, right up my alley. Don’t forget to cuff the bottoms of your jeans if you pair with some sneakers or canvas shoes!

In light of today’s horrendous weather, I want to think and talk about some warmer weather! Spring is, hopefully, coming soon. Still a bit of a chill in the air, but those days are starting to get warmer then as we approach summer.

Some great spring wear ideas I came across include wearing layers, lightweight dresses, and of course some beautiful pastel choices. Let me show you what I’m talking about.

A light layer could something as simple as a jean jacket or a cardigan. Either is a great option for layering.

A Kimono can be a great choice for layering as well. I can picture seeing this outfit on someone at a local farmer’s market on a weekend morning.

Then of course there are the colors that you see on most clothing in Spring, and some select color combinations. I feel there is a line drawn in wearing pastel colors in Spring and wearing more pronounced colors in Summer. A great color combination for Spring includes coral.

That can include a pop of it,

Maybe a gorgeous pair of slacks

Or perhaps a fantastic coat for those still cool mornings and nights

This outfit screams Spring to me, I think it’s the stripes of the top and the racerback cut of it. I love it. You don’t have to pair it with such a bold jacket either, think something soft for Spring.

I try to stay away from sharing things that are trending, but I really like this one today and like how versatile this trending item can be. It’s a lace dress, ladies. They are so beautiful and come in so many different styles.

There are beautiful lace dresses in short or long lengths, and of course come in various colors. Let me share some of the few favorites I found browsing online.

If you prefer a longer dress, look at these.

I am really loving that black dress! My favorite thing about it is where it hits on the leg; I love the classic look of a dress that hits right below the knee. I also love how both the blue and black dresses have a bit of extra unlined lace at the bottom. The light pink dress is another great option for a lace dress. This one has a bit more of a swinging type skirt but still has that beautiful lace detail.

If you prefer a short dress, look at these options.

These all still have some beautiful details, as the should! I love the eyelash lace trim on the far left blue dress, and how the black and far right pink dress have that unlined lace at the bottom. I love the addition of the tie on the top middle dress. It’s such a simple addition but really makes the dress. And the bottom middle dress is a beautiful figure hugging lace dress.

One nice thing about a style that is trending is that you can find one within your price range since most stores carry them. Just by looking online I’ve found some at Target, Macy’s, and Nordstrom.

Danea was recently contacted by a local mall lingerie store, Soma Intimates, to come in and share her gorgeousÂ work with their customers. Pretty amazing, huh?! In light of that I thought I’d highlight some of their items that have caught my eye, and there are plenty.

First off about something red and lacy for Valentine’s Day. Each bra has a coordinating panty for you to choose from as well.

For those of you who happen to be a bit more supple up top, they have some beautiful bras for you as well. That’s one thing I really am loving about this store, they have sizes for everyone. Some mall stores, who shall remain nameless, really only cater to small girls, and their bra sizes are not true bra sizes. These are!

If you’re looking for more of a lingerie type style item, they’ve got you covered there too. Check out some pieces I found.

I am seeing a shopping trip here in my future. I am loving their bras and some of this lingerie! If you see something that catches your eye, stop in the Valley Fair location this coming Thursday night, February 9. Danea will be there from 4pm-8pm.
