Pea coats seem to be a perfect winter staple. They are so beautiful and very versatile. I’ve seen so many women wearing them while out and about, and I always admire them.

The best thing about a pea coat is you really can wear them with any outfit. They look great with a dress or skirt, jeans or leggings. There are so many ways to wear it.

A stunning colored coat really dresses up an outfit.

Fashion Friday | San Jose Bay Area Boudoir Photographer

December has arrived! I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. Tis the season of Holiday work parties, and I know there are so many questions about what to wear, or what you should wear to these. I came across an article this week that I wanted to share with you, and while I don’t agree with everything they say, there are definitely good tips.

Some of their tips are:

  1. Don’t wear anything you would wear to the club! And while I wouldn’t think this really needs to be said, I’m sure it does for someone out there lol! Really, leave the sheer and mini skirts at home ladies.
  2. Do dress a bit more conservatively than you would at a party with your close friends.
  3. Don’t show up wearing something you would normally wear to work. If the dress code isn’t super fancy, it can be nice still to glam it up a bit more than a normal workday. Have fun with it, in a nice classy way lol.

What would a Fashion Friday post be without some suggestions right?!!

I love this gold dress. It’s so beautiful, but not overly dressed up. This would be super easy to accessorize too; some black pumps like shown and some dangly earrings and you are set!

I love this red dress! The cutouts at the bottom are simply stunning, and the bows on the shoes are so classy. Don’t forget a stunning statement necklace to finish off the look.

Maybe your Holiday party isn’t super fancy; a nice pair of skinny jeans, a stunning sweater and some cute booties would make the perfect look.

Tushy Tuesday | Campbell Bay Area Boudoir Photographer

Happy Tushy Tuesday!

I often have clients ask if I have props in my studio. The short answer is no, however I do have a few flowers and masks. I honestly do not do a lot of sets with props other than the occasional football and jersey and gamer items. But I have been known to shoot with a bike and today’s image features a playful mechanic set. I love helping clients brainstorm when they do have ideas that will work and this was one of them! Suck a teaser shot! Haha.

Here’s a little snipped from a recent email this gorgeous client sent me. Her images were a gift to her groom on their wedding day and I am thrilled they were liked this much!

"K**** LOVED them! It was the perfect gift! For those who also got to peak said that the photographer 
did an amazing job (including our photographer himself) and that I looked like I should be on 
the cover of magazines! So cool!"
