First Shoot In The New Studio | Campbell Bay Area Boudoir Photographer

Our New Location

We’ve officially been shooting in the new Downtown Campbell studio for just over a month. There have been some big changes, like fresh glitter paint and new flooring since this shoot and we are very exciting about all the shooting possibilities in our new location! I no longer have a large blank shooting wall but we have stairs, a balcony and even a candy bar– which is a fabulous way to utilize the sexy “saloon” feel of the place.

This gorgeous lady came in for a 20 year anniversary shoot and hot damn did she rock it! Here’s a look at some of the images from her session which shows aÂ variety of sets.

We started off with a Dodgers themed set. It’s always fun to incorporate something of his and sports is an easy and sexy way to do it!

I love, love, LOVE a cozy sweaterÂ over a pretty lace bra!

Our new low hanging chandelier makes for some gorgeous shots!

On the balcony– and get a load of that giant chandelier! The natural light in here is gorgeous!

Of course I love me some sheet! You look stunning Miss T!

Fashion Friday | Sunnyvale Bay Area Boudoir Photographer

Pea coats seem to be a perfect winter staple. They are so beautiful and very versatile. I’ve seen so many women wearing them while out and about, and I always admire them.

The best thing about a pea coat is you really can wear them with any outfit. They look great with a dress or skirt, jeans or leggings. There are so many ways to wear it.

A stunning colored coat really dresses up an outfit.

Love the addition of the scarf in this one, just because you’re wearing a coat doesn’t mean you can forget to accessorize.

I love the red and black combination! Just like the pop of color in the blue jacket above, aÂ neutral outfit can really make a rich colored coat stand out.

A pea coat can be great for a nice, casual look with jeans too.

Or for a dressed up look with jeans!

Do you have a pea coat? Have you been wanting to get one but don’t know what you would wear it with? The answer is everything! You can’t go wrong with adding one of these coats to your wardrobe. Now is the perfect time to get them as I’ve seen one at almost every store I’ve been to.

Fashion Friday | San Jose Bay Area Boudoir Photographer

December has arrived! I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. Tis the season of Holiday work parties, and I know there are so many questions about what to wear, or what you should wear to these. I came across anÂ article this week that I wanted to share with you, and while I don’t agree with everything they say, there are definitely good tips.

Some of their tips are:

Don’t wear anything you would wear to the club! And while I wouldn’t think this really needs to be said, I’m sure it does for someone out there lol! Really, leave the sheer and mini skirts at home ladies.
Do dress a bit more conservatively than you would at a party with your close friends.
Don’t show up wearing something you would normally wear to work. If the dress code isn’t super fancy, it can be nice still to glam it up a bit more than a normal workday. Have fun with it, in a nice classy way lol.

What would a Fashion Friday post be without some suggestions right?!!

I love this gold dress. It’s so beautiful, but not overly dressed up. This would be super easy to accessorize too; some black pumps like shown and some dangly earrings and you are set!

I love this red dress! The cutouts at the bottom are simply stunning, and the bows on the shoes are so classy. Don’t forget a stunning statement necklace to finish off the look.

Maybe your Holiday party isn’t super fancy; a nice pair of skinny jeans, a stunning sweater and some cute booties would make the perfect look.

So tell me, what look do you go for? Super dressy or more of a casual look? Whatever it may be, enjoy and have a great time!

This has been my season for brides! Usually early spring is when the bridal boudoir rush is, but dang, there sure are a lot of Autumn weddings this year!!! Congratulations to all my beautiful brides!

Only SIX Weeks Left! | San Jose Bay Area Holiday Photography Gift Creator

I can’t hide it, I absolutely HATE putting out Holiday booking reminders, especially since they should really start in September. Blah! I believe this is because I cringe upon seeing Halloween and Christmas decorations in August, even though they are my favorite holidays and I go crazy with decorating for both. Thus, sitting down to design promos in August makes me spazzy. Haha. Unfortunately though, I cannot change the time frame of sessions and how long they take from start to finish in order for you to have your amazing gift in hand before Dec 25th.

Fashion Friday | Campbell Bay Area Boudoir Photographer

I’ve been thinking for awhile doing a post on rompers. Now, they are not something that I feel I can pull off, but I do admire the girls that wear them. They look so cute and I have to admit I’m a bit envious. Recently a client came in for a secondÂ shoot (Yes! Return client!!) and she brought a beautiful, coral colored romper and I knew that was my cue to do this post.

Rompers are light weight and perfect for a hot summer, or fall, day. They would look super cute on date night as well.

There are so many different styles you can choose from. A romper would be a great choice if you aren’t comfortable wearing lingerie for your session. We can still glam it up and do some sexy poses.

Think about picking one up for your closet ladies, and bring it in for your shoot!!

Fashion Friday | Santa Clara Boudoir Photographer

Black and white is such a classic, simple, and stunning combination. But sometimes it’s nice to jazz it up with a pop of color. A bright color among a neutral can make them pop even more.

A nice example is to pair a red accessory with a black and white outfit, even if your thinking about your wardrobe for your boudoir shoot.

You could choose to do a colored shoe (always a stiletto!), or a colored belt with a structured, tailored blouse would look amazing. A big, cozy, off the shoulder sweater with a colorful flower would look great with panties and some strappy colored heels.

You could even do a colored lingerie set under his button down shirt. Sticking with the red theme today I wanted to show some nice options if you choose to do a non-neutral option. Wearing black stockings and black heels would make the red pop even more.
