Confessions of a Boudoir Photographer

I love hoodies and I don’t mean “like”, I mean LOVE! If the weather is cool and I am at home you will 9 times out of 10, find me in an over sized pullover hoodie(I don’t like zippers). I may even own a few XL, because I love them big, loose and cozy! I recently started buying plain colored ones instead of touristy ones to feel more “dressed up”. LOL. I have even debated having a Boudoir Coterie hoodie made.

Unfortunately though, I can relate to this:

Regardless of how I might look, don’t try and take away my hoodies– I’ll cut ya! hahaha

Fashion Friday | Campbell Bay Area Boudoir Photographer

We’ve officially hit fall and the cooler weather should be right around the corner, which means many of us will be donning cozy, chunky sweaters. Sweaters are a great layering item for boudoir shoots.

We’ve had many a past client bring in a comfyÂ sweater and wear it over their favorite lingerie. We start you off looking nice and sweet in your sweater, then maybe slide it off one shoulder or pull it up on one side. Most clients get comfortable enough that the sweater can end up off and completely out of the shoot!

Danea shared the above photo on the blog recently, but in case you missed it this is an amazing example of what a sweater set could look like. Just a little skin showing, but very soft, classy and sensual.

Tushy Tuesday | Best Bay Area Boudoir

Happy Tushy Tuesday, everyone!

Today I have a lovely shot from a couple years ago… man how time flies! Plus, I am finally organizing my model release shoots so I don’t have to hunt down cute tushy shots every week. Hahaha.

I recently had a client come in to our San Jose Portrait studio to view her images and she was excited to see some great tushy shots… AND she wants to be featured on Tushy Tuesday! I am hearing that more and more lately. Pretty impressive since most women would cringe at the thought of having a photo of their butt… but I strive to make all butts look fabulous! Today’s tush shot is no exception! I mean just look at that lace, garter, stocking… reflection. I think it’s lovely!

Fashion Friday | The Bay Area’s #1 Boudoir Photographer

I’m laughing over the title, but hey why not? I’m #1 in my books… hahaha

I’m loving these sexy looks for this weeks fashion Friday. Not only do they show some fabulous layering ideas, but they are white, cream and sassy. White and gold always has a sophisticated and classy look so why not bring that into your session… and with this spin on the “gladiator sandal”… ummm, yes please!

Tushy Tuesday | San Jose Bay Area yes I will make your butt look good, Photographer

Happy Tushy Tuesday everyone!!!

I hope your week is off to a great start. Mine, not so much. I mean fabulous clients as always, but a strange allergic reaction to Flonase has left me with very itchy skin hives and I’m ready for them to be gone. Of course the joke is that Flonase is the type of medicine they give to get RID of allergic reactions so go figure that it would cause one in me. Never a dull moment!

Butt enough about me(see what I did there) it’s Tushy Tueday and we have a lovely image for you today. The fabulous Miss A was gracious enough to allow us to share one of her images, adorned in this gorgeous plum bra, panty and garter set from Besos Lingerie in Los Gatos. So very pretty!
