It’s night time and not a thing left to do. Date night is fun, but you want to make it unforgettable and dazzling. It’s time to go into your closet and pull out your trusty ‘After Dark’ look, complete with the perfect lingerie to finish the night off.

Purple is the color of royalty and you deserve to look like a queen. It can be a very dramatic statement or show a softer side of you depending on the shade. From it’s darkest to it’s lightest shades this versatile hue never ceases to impress your love.

Black is a go-to classic! It caters to every event. Whether it’s a gala gown, a little black dress or a wild rocker piece. The thing that makes black truly the best is the ability to mix and match colors and patterns since black goes with everything.

Valentine’s Day is here and now you have to figure out what to wear for Date Night. But it doesn’t just end there. You have to also think of the Night Cap. These awesome styles are focused on putting the two events in your evening together. Your night never has to pause when it’s time to slip into something more comfortable.

Red is the classic and powerful color that represents attraction. And red is similar to black, in that it matches well with most any color. Increase the seductive nature of this lustful shade with a soft fur coat wrapped around you. When the night ends drape your curves in lace. A promise of playful romping goes without saying.

Lighter colors often achieve a different kind of seductive side. It softens the person with its delicate hue. Smoother shades of pink, champagne, or even white are optimal for bringing an innocence to the evening. To ensure complete perfection silky materials are a must in this. When it comes to Valentine’s Day finding what to wear can be a hassle, especially when you’re the type that always thinks outside the box. For the biggest day of love satin and lace are your standard fabrics when choosing something very sexy. These fabrics are both fantastic for go-to sexytime lingerie. But you’re not into just those two choices. You’re more into mixing it up a bit or even going with an entirely different material altogether. VELVET!!!! Yes, Velvet!!

Since velvet is so soft to the touch some ladies like to go for a color that is equally as soft. It makes it that much more irresistible. Lighter shades of pink achieve this effect perfectly.

Burgundy accomplishes this soft sexy perfection despite its deep shade. As a matter of fact, to go deeper is to attain true seduction.

Various shades of blue of course are vivacious and extremely enticing, but one of the most unlikely colors for Valentine’s Day. Despite not being a more commonly used color, it still achieves a soft and regal yet naughty look.

Although purple is a less traditional color for the occasion it is the most regal of all colors. Wear the color of a Queen while captivating your King.

But black is an absolute classic and goes with every color, every occasion and it is most flattering on every beautiful figure. As a little black dress is a must in each woman’s closet, so too should black velvet in every ladies lingerie drawer.

It’s important to bring the real you out in your session. If that means your not a satin gal, great! Sometimes just a simple knit sweater or a cute cotton pantie does the trick. Cozy styles allow you to be relaxed and elegant, fun loving and seductive. It can be just as colorful, playful and creative as even the sexiest lingerie. Because, in the end, it’s about having fun.

Miss O is one great example of a simple open knit sweater look making everything seem so comfortable yet sexy. One could not resist being drawn in by her deep gaze. Another wonderful example is Miss M and her plush sweater paired with adorable leg warmers. Head to toe she looks as soft as a cloud.

Miss E is showing her playful side with her color choice along with pairing a comfy cotton tee and lace panties. She feels at ease and confident which shows in her smile. Miss F embraces a little more of a seductive side to her cozy style with a full lace lingerie set simply paired with a lovely cotton cardigan. Her casual elegance shows through perfectly.

Vintage never goes out of style, especially in the boudoir. And capturing this sexy elegance in a photo is as old as photography itself. And to look sexy for your love is even older. As old as time. The evolution of these delicate undergarments have a long history, but styles are often repeated and made better through the ages. As times change and needs of the boudoir do, so to must lingerie.

Victorians were not as stuck up as one would think. They knew how to have fun and dress for the occasion, even in private. For the modern Victorian look a touch of lace here, a neck-full of pearls there and a breathtaking corset is all you need

By the 1920’s women were not only politically free but a little more sexually free and their less constricting often more revealing lingerie was a sign of the times. Even the music in the bedroom became more exciting with Jazz.

As Hollywood grew in popularity so did the need for looking like a star in the bedroom. Even with WWII taking all the silk, that didn’t stop the ladies from wearing the most glamorous looks! (Thank You Nylon)

Can you imagine the 1950’s being sexy? Well, the truth is some of the sexiest styles we still use today came from the 1950’s. It has become the most copied look for vintage lingerie.

Trying to think of a way to make your photoshoot with Boudoir Coterie more intimate? Try adding a little piece of him to the shoot. Some clients have chosen this simple
method and the results are always stunning. One way to wow him is as easy as walking to his part of the closet and as sensual as putting on his favorite dress shirt. Use the smell of him to inspire you during your session.

Miss J exudes comfort and passion with mixing and matching: a soft dress shirt of his and touch of her with a perfect lingerie set. You can almost feel him inspiring her as she caresses the fabric. His essence allows her to feel more comfortable in the moment and free to show how sexy he makes her feel.

Another way to spice it up is with an object of sentimental value. This is a great way to add him to your photo shoot and it gives him a complete shot of everything he loves. Miss S is rocking out her session with her husband’s awesome guitar. This is one of the sexiest examples of heating up a photo shoot with a little piece of him.

Need just one more idea? Think of something you both love together: something that makes you laugh together or even something you play together. Miss A is making it slightly more personal by adding items intended as an inside joke. They may live busy lives but they find a way to laugh at these everyday items. Miss V is representing a common love she and her husband have for volleyball. When you work up a sweat together you stay together and always know how to have fun.

During the reveal, you’ll instantly be brought back to when it all began. Sometimes it is that simple to make him see the real you: the real sexy you!
