Let me tell you a little secret, I have an affinity for beautiful lingerie. I love browsing various sites seeing what is out there. I was so inspired by my browsing today, I had to share with you a few amazing pieces I found. These would be perfect for a night in, or a photo shoot with us ;), heck why not both?!!!

I wanted to show off some one piece items first. The two long gowns on the right are amazingly stunning! I can imagine them flowing with the fan blowing on you as we use for some shoots. The teddy and kimono are a gorgeous jewel tone that would compliment any skin tone. If a chemise is more of your style this silver with lace details is perfect. And when I saw the white with black lace short one piece I was really intrigued because I’ve never seen a piece of lingerie like that. Typically if you wanted that look you had to wear two pieces, so I like this because it’s a different option.

I love garter belts, or panties with built in garters. There is something to timeless and classic about these pieces. I like how the two black pieces have the garter straps attached to the panties. You’ll also notice how they are more of a high waister, more coverage panty as opposed to the itty bitty panties that are usually sold to go along with the garter. Buy what you like and feel comfortable in!

What do you all think of today’s lingerie? Do you like it? Think it’s too revealing? Wish there were other options? If so, you should try to find some vintage inspired lingerie. It has more of a modest look to it, but still conveys sexy and stylish. Now I’m not saying there is anything wrong with anything you currently own (I own some too!), but let’s face it, we are all different and our tastes run the spectrum.

Vintage panties tend to have a higher waistline, and come down further on your hips. I love this look! A long skirt with garter attachments is beautiful and can hide any leg areas you want covered.

One thing that is pretty consistent with vintage lingerie pieces isÂ soft colors, and usually some lace overlay.

So what do you think ladies? Do you like the vintage feel of these pieces, or are you more of a traditional gal?

The Holidays are coming!!!! If you are thinking about booking a session with us to surprise your significant other with a beautiful album or perhaps even a canvas, call us!!!! December 1 is the deadline for ordering an album to have it arrive in time.

Phew, now that my PSA is out of the way, why don’t I give you some ideas about what to wear for your upcoming holiday shoot! We just have to go along with the Naughty or Nice theme; after all, isn’t that the biggest question around this time of the year?!

What you wear depends on your comfort level. Don’t bring something you are not feeling sure of yourself in, because it will come across in your photos. If you are on the more daring side bring something a little see through or more revealing. A bra & panty set with a garter and stockings are a great choice. Feeling a little shy, choose a corset or a chemise. You can still bring stockings to wear. Stockings add a little sensuality to almost anything you bring in. And there are always silk robes that you can cover up with to your liking, and feel a bit more flirty. Don’t forget heels and stockings no matter what you bring!

We’ve officially hit fall and the cooler weather should be right around the corner, which means many of us will be donning cozy, chunky sweaters. Sweaters are a great layering item for boudoir shoots.

We’ve had many a past client bring in a comfyÂ sweater and wear it over their favorite lingerie. We start you off looking nice and sweet in your sweater, then maybe slide it off one shoulder or pull it up on one side. Most clients get comfortable enough that the sweater can end up off and completely out of the shoot!

Danea shared the above photo on the blog recently, but in case you missed it this is an amazing example of what a sweater set could look like. Just a little skin showing, but very soft, classy and sensual.

Happy Tushy Tuesday everyone!!!

I hope your week is off to a great start. Mine, not so much. I mean fabulous clients as always, but a strange allergic reaction to Flonase has left me with very itchy skin hives and I’m ready for them to be gone. Of course the joke is that Flonase is the type of medicine they give to get RID of allergic reactions so go figure that it would cause one in me. Never a dull moment!

Butt enough about me(see what I did there) it’s Tushy Tueday and we have a lovely image for you today. The fabulous Miss A was gracious enough to allow us to share one of her images, adorned in this gorgeous plum bra, panty and garter set from Besos Lingerie in Los Gatos. So very pretty!
