I am not the type of girl who wears skirts just because. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I am very much a jeans and t-shirt wearing gal. I do however enjoy dressing up when the occasion calls for it, and I appreciate pieces of wardrobe that can be worn many different ways from formal to casual.

A pencil skirt is a great option for putting outfits together. Depending on how you style them they can be a fantastic look for office attire, date night, ladies night out, or casual day at the beach or maybe even a concert! I have a dress that fits like a pencil skirt on the bottom and it is my go to favorite little black dress. There is something about the way a pencil skirt hugs and the hips and through the legs that makes me feel sexy. And I do believe that this silhouette looks great on every body shape. I’m telling you, something about the shape of it is very sexy ladies. Oh, and just imagine wearing this skirt with some stilettos and a bra (or braless!) for your photo shoot! Smokin’ hot ladies!

Let me show you some ways to wear a pencil skirt at an office or for a professional job.

You can choose a gorgeous colored skirt and pair it with a complimentary top. If your job requires you to wear a blazer this skirt pairs perfectly with one.

A wrap pencil skirt is another great option for a professional look.

A patterned skirt is a great look for work,

or for a casual day.

What to Wear Wednesday | Milpitas San Jose Bay Area Boudoir Photographer

We’re gonna bring it back to a little bit of boudoir today ladies, after all that is Danea’s specialty!

Everyone has their own style, likes and dislikes. I try to tailor my posts to everyone and give various ideas about how to wear a style to compliment all the different body types out there. If I am featuring something that is plus size, don’t discount using the premise of what I’m showing to tailor an outfit for yourself; same goes for the other way. Use the base of what I’m saying to try new things, pair new pieces of your wardrobe, or go for that style you’re on the fence about.

Leather can be a fun style to wear for your boudoir shoot. The great thing is that you don’t necessarily have to incorporate it into your lingerie, you can pull it in with your accessories.

You can do a fantastic leather bustier or bra paired with a leather skirt, or even some black cotton panties. If you don’t like the idea of wearing leather, what about bringing some leather boots to your shoot? What’s on your feet can be almost as important as your choice of lingerie.

A leather jacket is a fun item to bring too.

Sometimes you need to be shown how beautiful you are…

All women struggle with feeling beautiful and confident. There are so many things in life that get in our way, change how we feel or how we look and sometimes we need a little reminder. I had the gorgeous Miss D in for a session a couple months ago. She was nervous but excited. She allowed us to play with her adorable pixie cut for some playful spikes, it looked fabulous on her! We raided the studio wardrobe for this elegant dress and a sparkly necklace. The low cut front and leg slits showed off all her gorgeous assets. She looked amazing and as always I love to see the transformation from shy and nervous to confident and strong. Miss D has it going on!

This dress is a studio piece and looks amazing on!

Next, we got a little playful with this sexy little number, also a studio piece. We paired it with this gorgeous mask for the perfect match.

Seduction. When you feel beautiful, it can happen without even trying.

Miss D is wonderfully tall, perfectly shown off in this image. What you don’t see in this set is how much we laughed throughout her session. Some of these poses are not the most natural. Hahaha Modeling can be hard, but it can be rewarding also. After showing Miss D a few images on the back of the camera she did her best not to cry with excitement. I was able to show her how stunningly beautiful she is. To me, that has greater value than the images alone. I know I have said this a lot but there is so much more to a Boudoir Coterie photo shoot than having your picture taken, it’s an experience every woman should have. We all need to feel beautiful, sensual and confident.

Why yes, I do shoot topless, but I am not allowed to show it on my website. I think I found a way around this. 😉 If sensual images fit your style, then these sexy sheet set shots are the way to go.

Miss D was amazing and brave. For someone so nervous about being in front of the camera, she completely stepped out of her comfort zone and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Her images are stunning and sensual. the perfect portrayal of this gorgeous woman.

Everything old comes back into style right? Whether it be toys or clothes, things from my childhood and teen-hood seem to be coming back around. We’re gonna talk about bodysuits today. I’ve seen them around in my online browsing, and also in person at some stores.

Bodysuits are so versatile because you really can pair them with anything. Let’s look at some options.

If you work in a professional setting, you can pair the bodysuit with a few different items.

One would be a pencil skirt. This look is classic and sleek. Don’t forget heels or small pumps to really set this outfit off.

Another great option for work is to wear with slacks and a beautiful blazer or sweater.

Blogger style: Grey coat&White bodysuit&grey pants&sandals&clutch

If you’re looking for a more casual way to wear a body suit, try pairing it with colored jeans and a blue jean jacket. I love this look with the striped bodysuit.

This one is gorgeous and would be a great work choice, or even for a brunch with the ladies.

Last idea I’m going to share with you today is to wear it with jeans. While the jeans say casual, what you add to the ensemble makes it more than just a casual look.

I love the jacquard pattern of this. That in itself gives the outfit a bit of an classy look. Paired with some cute ankle booties and a nice sweater or coat, this outfit can easily be worn to any function.

I have to admit, I love a bit of the vintage look when it comes to lingerie. While I can appreciate all the tiny, itty bitty pieces of today’s lingerie, I adore the classic look. Long, flowy gowns; fuller, longer bottom pieces, and some vintage lace.

Adding elbow length gloves to your sexy bra & panty set is a great idea and can really add that vintage feel. Wearing stockings with your vintage panty set it another way to add a classic look. A long classic gown (can you picture it from a classic black & white movie!) is so beautiful. Picture yourself stretched out in a door frame wearing that; so hot!

Another vintage looks that I love and can appreciate is garters! I love the wide garter belts, or the high panties that have the garter hooks built in. Don’t get me wrong, I’m very happy with the time we live in and that I don’t have to dress like that daily, but love this look for a boudoir shoot or special evening.

In my search for something to bring to you this week I browsed through some of my usual places. When I hit Agent Provocateur I knew I had to share some of their new pieces with you. Amazingly, stunning and sexy pieces ladies! Seriously, I’m drooling over here.

Check out this intricate black lace teddy.

This would look great for a woman whose breasts are on the smaller side (I can say that as I am one!).

This 3 piece set is just beautiful. The color is amazing and will compliment any skin tone. There are so many details in this set; from the gold colorÂ to the lace to the eyelash fringe. It makes a stunning look.

This is my favorite of their new pieces, because this is something I can see myself wearing. The top would be flattering for any bust size, and I love how the garters are included in the panty piece. I also like that the panties are a more full sided look than briefs, typical of a vintage style.

For those of you really like to push the boundaries, here is a piece for you! It really is amazing, but doesn’t leave much to the imagination. Pasties not included 😉
