Let me tell you a little secret, I have an affinity for beautiful lingerie. I love browsing various sites seeing what is out there. I was so inspired by my browsing today, I had to share with you a few amazing pieces I found. These would be perfect for a night in, or a photo shoot with us ;), heck why not both?!!!

I wanted to show off some one piece items first. The two long gowns on the right are amazingly stunning! I can imagine them flowing with the fan blowing on you as we use for some shoots. The teddy and kimono are a gorgeous jewel tone that would compliment any skin tone. If a chemise is more of your style this silver with lace details is perfect. And when I saw the white with black lace short one piece I was really intrigued because I’ve never seen a piece of lingerie like that. Typically if you wanted that look you had to wear two pieces, so I like this because it’s a different option.

I love garter belts, or panties with built in garters. There is something to timeless and classic about these pieces. I like how the two black pieces have the garter straps attached to the panties. You’ll also notice how they are more of a high waister, more coverage panty as opposed to the itty bitty panties that are usually sold to go along with the garter. Buy what you like and feel comfortable in!

Happy Tushy Tuesday!

I often have clients ask if I have props in my studio. The short answer is no, however I do have a few flowers and masks. I honestly do not do a lot of sets with props other than the occasional football and jersey and gamer items. But I have been known to shoot with a bike and today’s image features a playful mechanic set. I love helping clients brainstorm when they do have ideas that will work and this was one of them! Suck a teaser shot! Haha.

Here’s a little snipped from a recent email this gorgeous client sent me. Her images were a gift to her groom on their wedding day and I am thrilled they were liked this much!

"K**** LOVED them! It was the perfect gift! For those who also got to peak said that the photographer 
did an amazing job (including our photographer himself) and that I looked like I should be on 
the cover of magazines! So cool!"

Tushy Tuesday | Bridal Boudoir San Jose Bay Area

It’s that lovely day again… Tushy Tuesday!

Today should have been last weeks post but I was out of town and didn’t pre-blog this.

I have to say, after years of shooting boudoir and brides, I have seen some adorable, sexy and fabulous sets of bridal lingerie! These panties are fantastic; little satin bows with crystal centers and pee-a-boo sheer fabric- I love it! Not to mention, she wears these well. 😉

When you think of doing a boudoir session, what type of outfits come to mind? Lingerie? Bra & panty set? Stockings? A teddy? You would be right, but there are other options too. Some women feel more comfortable in a more relaxed outfit, such as some boy shorts, a sexy v-neck shirt, and some tall socks.

The main thing about the session is to choose what you feel beautiful, sexy and comfortable in. Above would be more my style lol. I’m a very “jeans & t-shirt” type of gal.

I like that they chose a strappy bra to peek out of the top. Some full bottom panties and tall socks or even leg warmers are a great option. With fall and winter approaching a chunky sweater is another great choiceÂ instead of a t-shirt. It’s so important, even in every day life, to feel comfortable in whatever you are choosing to wear. If you aren’t comfortable and your tugging your shirt down, or adjusting your panties every 2 seconds, you probably won’t come off as your best.

There isn’t really any right or wrong way (ok, there might be a little wrong lol) to dress yourself daily or for your boudoir session with us. Make sure what you are choosing fits well regardless of the number or letter on the tag. If it fits right you will feel good!
