Confessions of a boudoir photographer:

It’s time to have a little fun and since getting naked in front of a stranger can be a bit intimidating, I figure that it might help if a start sharing some small personal posts so you can get to know me better. Sometimes these might be simple random facts and other times, like today, short stories. You will find that I am a very honest person and I live my life with humor, sarcasm and laughter. Lots of laughter, or I would likely go insane. 😉 So enjoy and please watch for more “Confessions” coming soon!

Last night…

The room was dark and surprisingly cool in such a short time of the air conditioning being on. The sheets felt icy against my bare legs as I very quietly slipped into bed, trying not to wake Jeff. I carefully adjusted the sheets around me I listened to his breathing; a mix between a deep sleep and a soft snore. I smiled and turned my head towards him. My eyes had still not adjusted to the dark and I let them fall closed as I got comfortable on my back. My body melted into the mattress as I exhaled, tired, relaxed and proud of my ability to climb into bed with such stealth. I turned my face towards the ceiling and I blinked away the darkness.

As my eyes adjusted to the light I saw the outline of a dark shadowy figure crouching over me. I let out a gasp and my arms shot up to push him away! It was at this same split second that I realized… it was just the sheet popping up all weird close to my face.

It takes a special kind of person to almost give themselves a heart attack by bed sheet.

Side note: Apparently, if you surprise me in the dark, I WILL start swinging.

This image is from a very fun and recent shoot. Her man enjoys whiskey… and her. *wink, wink*

I enjoy incorporating personal items into a shoot. Clients often bring in an item that we can use for a full set– like a jersey or dress shirt. Other times the items only require a few fun shots.

I have a feeling this image will have him taking a swig. I mean dang girl, that’s one fine tush! 😉

Boudoir Session | San Jose Beautiful and Sexy Portrait Studio

This is Miss K. She is sweet, funny and daring. She also ROCKED her boudoir session.

I am so thrilled to be able to share the majority of her images. Although, like many others it kills me a little to not be able to share the super sexy, semi naughty but still very tasteful(hehehe) nude sheet set! So for all those freaking out a little about privacy and whether you have to share images, I take it VERY seriously!!! You do not have to share anything. Being able to show boudoir session images is fantastic for both me, so I can show off my work, the client, who get’s ooh’d and aah’d over and for potential clients who want to say everyday women looking amazing!

Miss K knew exactly what she wanted when she arrived at our San Jose studio. She was well prepared with fabulous outfits that fit her beautifully and highlighted her amazing curves!

The funny part is that it took her almost a year to finally book and it was well worth the wait! You look gorgeous Miss K and thank you so much for allowing me to share your fabulous Boudoir Coterie photo session!

I love this Dollhouse Betty outfit!

I LOVE this baby doll and how we glammed it up with jewels. She exudes sexiness and confidence! You go girl!!!

And of course that sweet and natural sexy “girl next door look”. 🙂

Did I mention that this beautiful gal has already hinted to wanting to schedule another shoot? Hehehe. I don’t blame her, she looks hot as hell.

Now that’s how you work a boudoir session!

Tushy Tuesday | Best Boudoir Photographer in the San Jose Bay Area

I’m feeling sassy, hence the blog title. It made me laugh and I figured, why the heck not, I’m feeling like it today! I have been booked pretty solid the past couple weeks and every session has been fabulous! Just this morning we ended with a butt shot and I said “Aaaaaand… you just made Tushy Tuesday!” Client: “YES!!!” Haha!

Sass can be a very good thing and so can confidence. I have seen every gorgeous woman leave my studio the past few weeks with a smile and an air of confidence about them that makes me beyond happy. I actually think I get a bit of a high doing what I do. I get so excited during the session when I capture beautiful poses and expressions. And to show a client and see her smile, it’s awesome. But I’m sure I am sounding like a broken record so let’s get on with it.

Here is yet another beautiful tushy, or tushie, or tushi, however you choose to spell it, it still looks fabulous!
