With so much buzz surrounding the upcoming 50 Shades of Grey movie, and these awesome fuzzy handcuffs making an appearance in our San Jose studio, how could I NOT do a 50 Shade’s inspired Tushy Tuesday!?
Personal tidbit– I’ve never read the books. 😉
So now I have to ask, would ya’ll like to see a 50 Shades inspired photo shoot? If I get enough feedback I will play around and share, but I need to know there is interest for it!

Since most women don’t feel that they have an ideal tushy, I try and capture a cute tushy shot during boudoir photo sessions in hopes that each lady will see that her tushy is quite fabulous. Then, if given permission, I share that fabulous tush here on a Tuesday, because tushies come in all shapes and sizes and they are all worth showing off. So behold, another fabulous tush!– oh, and cute hubby to boot, ladies. 😉

This is a sneak peek of a fun session to come. My girlfriend Devon(who you’ll see featured below) helped me make my first tulle skirt for the studio. It’s black and it’s really pretty! I have plans for at least two to three more(white is next, which will be amazing for bridal sessions!!!). These are pieces that will be available for use in the studio. We already have a few items and I’m excited to add some more glamour piece for clients to use. I’ve had one client wear the skirt topless with strategic arm placement. *wink, wink*
So many possibilities!
This first look is softer and brighter.
This second look is a little more artsy.. in the hallway with an edgier processing. So MANY possibilities!
So there you have it, a fun and fabulous skirt that is now available for use during your Beauty or Boudoir session.

Welcome to our fabulous Sun Kissed Session Special. I don’t normally have the opportunity to shoot in the evenings. I did so a few weeks ago and the light was absolutely stunning! It was then that I decided to offer a limited number of evening shoots at a special price!

It’s been over a year that I’ve been sitting on these images. Last March I was able to attend WPPI, a large photographers convention in Las Vegas and attend a couple workshops. One small workshop on lighting was hosted by Chuckie Arlund. It was a group of 8 or so photographers in a small hotel room, one nervous but lovely model and the teaching about Radio Poppers and playing with lights. Each photographer had a few minutes to play with the poppers which was pretty cool. Here’s a behind the scene shot of Chuckie with the light meter, my friend and fellow Boudoir photographer Petra(holding the light), and the lovely Dana.
I couldn’t tell you which the following images were done with the radio poppers and which were natural light etc… it was too long ago, but there sure is a difference in the light and colors among these images. It was fun to get to play with these and I was pretty sure I was going to order them, but I didn’t get around to it after my trip and now I would need a refresher course to remember how to use them. Haha. Regardless I enjoyed the workshop and I couldn’t just let these lovely images sit in a folder. I may have only had a few moments with her but Dana did a wonderful job and I wanted to share the few images I took. Thanks again, Chuckie and Dana!
