Tushy Tuesday | San Jose Bay Area Boudoir Photo Shoot

Yeah, I have been slacking on the Tushy Tuesdays, please forgive me. I am hoping that this sexy tush will make up for it. She got this adorable garter belt skirt from Besos in Los Gatos. It has the matching bra too, which isn’t so important in this shot but comes into play in others! Luckily you’ll get to see more of this fabulous bridal session soon and this will be one grooms gift that he will remember forever!!! Lucky dog!

No Excuses! | San Jose Bay Area Boudoir Photography

Finally!

Early last year I had a few ideas for some promo videos. Unfortunately they have sat on the back burner for months and months. Finally, just over a week ago I realized that now was the time and I had the perfect person for my first shoot. I gave a past client, Miss F a call. It has been a year since she graced my studio but she had given me a full release and I figured she might be game. I pitched her my idea and what it would require from her(you’ll see), she laughed, paused and then agreed. Yay! We got together at the Boudoir Coterie San Jose Studio on Tuesday morning and with the help of my lovely assistant, Devon, shot everything we needed to make this happen. Of course the artist in me kept thinking of so many more things I could have done with this during the creation process but I am pretty dang thrilled with how it turned out!

This is the first video from my “No Excuses” campaign which will address some of the reasons I hear from women as to why they “can’t” book.

Can you guess what this video is addressing? Hahaha

So without further adieu, my video promo debut!

Coterie Rear of the Year– Winner(s) | San Jose Bay Area Boudoir Photographer

I will happily admit that I kept tabs on voting all week and multiple times a day. It was exciting to see the votes coming in. Thank you to everyone who took the time to vote and to all the wonderful ladies who have allowed me to share their fabulous images. These tushies belong to such a range of ladies, different ethnicity, single, married, kids no kids, it’s a fabulous group and I am thrilled to get to work with so many different women. Best job ever!

Now for the results… It was a close race between #4 and #9 , they were neck and neck all week. They were so close in fact, that I have decided to award both of them!

Curvy Girl Sexiness |Fashion Friday Boudoir Blog

True story:

One day I was getting coffee at the drive through coffee shop(Caffinos) near my house when I noticed a fancy bra that the barista was rocking on her low cut t-shirt(she looked great, not trashy, just wanted to make that clear!). I commented on it’s awesomeness because that’s how I roll… ever since she has let me know of some of the cool lingerie that she finds at Lane Bryant. I knew Lane Bryant carried some beautiful bras because I have photographed a few. BUT I often hear big busted girls complaining that there just isn’t a selection of comfy + sexy undergarments out there. Ooooh, but there is…

Well a few days ago this same sexy barista gave me the heads up on some of the new releases from Lane Bryant and I felt them worthy of a Fashion Friday blog post. **Side note– Nicole, who normally does the Fashion Friday feature is living the glamorous life and is off traveling again… hahaha** So here are a few of my favorite which reminded me a bit of Agent Provocateur. Yum!

What’s even more awesome… right now all there Cacique bras are buy one get one 50% off!!! Yeah Baby!

And for those looking for something pretty for a Bridal Boudoir shoot…

Tushy Tuesday | San Jose bay Area Boudoir/Glamour photographer

If you are happening on the blog for the first time, welcome to this fun feature that I lovingly call Tushy Tuesday!

Since most women don’t feel that they have an ideal tushy, I try and capture a cute tushy shot during boudoir photo sessions in hopes that each lady will see that her tushy is quite fabulous. Then, if given permission, I share that fabulous tush here on a Tuesday, because tushies come in all shapes and sizes and they are all worth showing off. So behold, another fabulous tush!– oh, and cute hubby to boot, ladies. 😉

Tulle Skirts on Fashion Friday! | San Jose Boudoir & Glamour Photographer

This is a sneak peek of a fun session to come. My girlfriend Devon(who you’ll see featured below) helped me make my first tulle skirt for the studio. It’s black and it’s really pretty! I have plans for at least two to three more(white is next, which will be amazing for bridal sessions!!!). These are pieces that will be available for use in the studio. We already have a few items and I’m excited to add some more glamour piece for clients to use. I’ve had one client wear the skirt topless with strategic arm placement. *wink, wink*

So many possibilities!

This first look is softer and brighter.

This second look is a little more artsy.. in the hallway with an edgier processing. So MANY possibilities!

So there you have it, a fun and fabulous skirt that is now available for use during your Beauty or Boudoir session.
