Oops… better late than never!
I was in the studio yesterday and then came home to a long to do list and it slipped my mind! I know many of you are shocked and dismayed to find out that I’m not perfect. It’s okay, it’s hard for me sometimes, too. *snort*
All kidding aside, check out today’s lovely Tush… and those pretty shoes! 🙂
Last week I had a consultation in my studio and after the the lovely young bride to be booked, she asked me which image on my wall was my favorite. I hadn’t given it much thought and quickly pointed “I think THIS one, no wait, THIS one…” and as my eye went from one image to the next they each stood out to me and that was when I realized they were all my favorites but for different reasons. I told her a little about each woman on my wall and why that session was special to me. I know that might sound silly and until that moment I had never consciously thought about my true connection with each woman who walks through my door and how much THEY have affected ME. I could tell you something about each woman who has stepped in from of my camera, some thing funny, something touching and often, something personal about who they are and why they came to me.
The reality is that I don’t actually spend much time with each client but I feel like I do because I am looking at their images for hours at a time, often chuckling about something that was said or done during the session or touched by something she confided in me and I realized that there is so much more to this “job”, this business, that I work so hard a running. I love my job and I have known and expressed that for a long time. So do I have a favorite image? Yes, I have a favorite image from every single session I have shot and to try and pick just one… well, I simply couldn’t do it!
This is the lovely Miss S, she was fun and witty and over all– fantastic! We talked about wine and she told me about a vineyard she had visited that names each wine something clever and witty with a funny description and we laughed about them. It made me want to go there, and hopefully I will someday. Then to make it even more special, she surprised me with a bottle when she picked up her album. It was so sweet and thoughtful and just one more reason why I feel a connection with so many of my clients.
Miss S is a gorgeous lady and like so many others, rocked her session. Her confidence radiates and each time I scroll through her images I change my mind on which image is my favorite. LOL. So I am just going to show you a whole bunch. Truthfully there are many more too, but we have to keep some private. 😉

I had the pleasure of working with Gloria last weekend after sending out a tweet a month or so ago saying that I would love to photograph her one day, and she responded. Yay! It’s been a long week with lots of deadlines, and a washing machine mishap. That was an unwelcome expense! But here we are back into the weekly grind and what better way to start off then with Tushy Tuesday!
P.S. We went with an LG Front loader. It had fantastic reviews so crossing my fingers that we don’t get a lemon. Haha.

Making the most out of your petite session:
Layer your outfit! A cute bra and panty set layered with a light sweater, scarf, vest or man shirt can make for multiple looks. We’ll slowly undress you while changing up the poses.
Practice in front of the mirror. Play with your expression from flirty to sultry, do it all, feel like a goof and have fun. It really will give you a boost of confidence the day of your session… just know duck face. 😉
Relax and enjoy the experience. Yes, it can be a little nerve racking but you are getting a full makeover and we will take care of you from start to finish and make sure that you rock your look.
Just because it’s one look and only 20 minutes doesn’t mean you won’t get amazing images. YOU WILL! I know what I am doing and I promise you will love how you feel and look!
